Sheba Davidson (photo), manager of Acute Care Services at the hospital, said that as of Oct. 1, StatCare is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Holiday hours will be the same as those for Saturday and Sunday.
According to Davidson, the extended hours will help families that work later hours and/or have after school activities, while the earlier weekend hours will help with coordination of pharmacy hours.
“And it will be very helpful for our community to know that StatCare will always be open from 8 a.m-2 p.m. on holidays,” she said in the announcement.

The clinic will continue to operate with no appointments being necessary.
MOVING: It was also announced that StatCare, now located adjacent to the ER in the hospital, will be relocating later this year to the newly remodeled Bennett Building on the N. 13th St., between Flagstar Bank and El Camino Real.
The new space will be complete with radiology services and a new retail pharmacy that will reflect the new StatCare hours, the announcement said.
The hospital’s Behavioral Health Outpatient Services will also be moving to the new location in the coming months.
