Paving of numerous Decatur streets is expected to begin Thursday, city officials said.
Brooks Construction of Fort Wayne has completed revamping 52 handicapped ramps around the city and milling (removing top layer of asphalt) of streets due to get a fresh coat of asphalt.
The work is expected to start on the southeast side of the city, officials said. That includes the lengthy stretch of Mercer Ave. from Five Points to Adams Memorial Hospital.
