The Adams County coroner is investigating a death after Berne police discovered a man dead in his home Thursday morning.
The department was notified of a missing worker and the Berne PD went to the man’s residence, where they found Justin Chivington dead.
Coroner Dean Amstutz noted that results of an autopsy are pending.
Chivington, who was 26, was employed at Poseidon Barge in Berne.
