Although the Decatur Chamber’s 2023 Summer Concert Season schedule is winding down, the Thursday night schedule on the Madison St. Plaza has now been extended into three September dates.
Thursday’s scheduled concert with Avalon Bay was called off due to rain. The concert was, however, rescheduled for two weeks later, on Thursday, Sept. 7.
The following Thursday, Sept. 14, Adams Health Network will hold its annual Senior Living Night on the plaza, bringing the ever-popular The Bulldogs back to the plaza stage.
The Bulldogs will play from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Food trucks will be available, a cash bar with wine slushies and beer is planned, and prizes will be awarded.
Then, on Thursday, Sept. 21, E5C4P3, the Journey tribute band will be returning. That band was hit by a heavy storm as it was set to play here on July 20, and Chamber officials were able to reschedule the concert.
Two more popular bands are set for the final two Thursdays in August: Hubie Ashcraft on the 24th and the Sweetwater All-Stars on the 31st.
