Merritt Quinn Fourman was born on September 26, 2026, and passed away peacefully in her parent’s arms on October 5, 2026, at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis following a courageous battle with a severe illness. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith on September 29, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Merritt may have only had nine days on this earth, but in those nine days, she touched countless lives and left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing, loving, and caring for her. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she brought into our lives will remain forever.
Merritt was deeply loved by her parents, Brandon J. and Mikala E. (Quinn) Fourman, and adored by her proud big brother, Graham Michael Fourman of Decatur, Indiana. She will be forever cherished by her maternal grandparents, Michael and Beth Quinn; maternal great-grandparents, Roger and Arlene Fuelling; maternal aunt and baptismal sponsor, Meghan Quinn, her fiancé, Jacob Gable and cousin Emma Gable; baptismal sponsor Sara Mesing; paternal grandmother, Tina Fourman; paternal aunt and uncle, Kyle and Avree Fourman; and her cousins, Emma Fourman, and Oliver Fourman. Also survived by numerous great aunts and great uncles. Preceded in death by maternal great grandparents Patrick and Marjorie Quinn and paternal great grandparents Francis and Donna Luginbill.
Merritt’s life was measured not in years, but in love. She gave her family memories they will hold close for a lifetime and reminded everyone around her just how precious and powerful a little life can be.
Her tiny hands may no longer be here to hold, but her love will forever be held in the hearts of her family.
Forever our daughter. Forever Graham’s little sissy. Forever our Merritt.
