F. Pearl Augsburger, 97, of Berne, Indiana, passed away Saturday evening, July 11, 2026, at Swiss Village in Berne.
She was born on March 10, 1929, in Jay County, Indiana, to the late Thomas and Sarah Edna (Alberson) Ray.
Pearl was united in marriage to Calvin Neal Berry on August 1, 1947, and he preceded her in death on September 6, 1977. She then married Justus C. “Bud” Augsburger on December 1, 1979.

She was active at the First Missionary Church in Berne, Indiana, and was previously active in the church choir.
Over the years, Pearl served her family as a homemaker and babysat for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pearl loved to paint landscape portraits and was very accomplished. She loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Justus “Bud” Augsburger of Berne, Indiana; daughter, Sheila (Wayne) Amstutz of Berne, Indiana; granddaughter, Tami (Bob) Heimann of Berne, Indiana; granddaughter, Casandra Hill of Naples, Florida; granddaughter, Todd (Kristi) Amstutz of Noblesville, Indiana; eight great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by her siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Swiss Village Chapel in Berne, Indiana, with Pastor Kate Uebersax officiating. Burial will take place at Ray Cemetery in Monroe, Indiana.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, prior to the service at Swiss Village.
Preferred memorials can be given to the Swiss Village Samaritan Fund.
