Adams Memorial Hospital has announced an upcoming transition in its lab department.
A new software system in the department will go live on Saturday, August 23, a news release said.
“This important upgrade is part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to improve patient care, accuracy, and service efficiency,” the announcement said.
However, it was explained that patients may experience temporary delays or longer wait times as staff members become familiar with the new system.
“Hospital administrators are encouraging the community to plan accordingly and appreciate their understanding during this transition,” the announcement added.
All other services will still be provided as the lab department will remain fully operational during the upgrade.
