On Friday, Adams County Republican Chairman Steve Justus filed the paperwork authorized by him under Indiana Code 3-13-11-5(b) or Indiana Code 3-13-8(b) to appoint Christina (Tina) Booth to the position of Clerk Treasurer for the town of Geneva due to the resignation of Morgan Mosser.

Following the filing of Booth’s appointment, Booth was sworn into office by Adams County Clerk Shelly Brite at the Adams County Courthouse.
Booth gave the following statement following being sworn into office: “I would like to start by thanking my family for their support in making this decision easier in accepting this appointment. I would also like to thank Steve Justus and the Adams County Republican Party for the appointment of the Geneva Clerk-Treasurer. I look forward to working with the Geneva Town Council members as well as the town workforce. Lastly, I look forward to working for the citizens of the town of Geneva.”
