Street paving began in Decatur Tuesday and four streets were completed the first day.
City Operation Manager Jeremy Gilbert said the paving by Brooks Construction should be completed by early next week.
The city parking lot behind Two Brothers, along with a section of Homestead Addition and a portion of Elm St., made up a portion of Wednesday’s schedule.
Following is the remainder of the schedule which is, of course, subject to change:
Thursday 9/19
- Oak St Mercer to IMI
- Mercer patch
- 224 patch
- Alley south of Verizon
Friday 9/20
- 7th St from Adams to Monroe
- Meibers from railroad to 5th
- 4th from Adams to Monroe
Saturday 9/21
- Possible Adams St
Monday 9/23
- Finish Adams
- 5th Monroe to Adams
Tuesday 9/24
- 5th from 2nd to Monroe
