An announcement by the Adams County Republican Party Friday revealed that a caucus will be held on August 13th to fill the open seat on the Adams County Council in District Two.
According to the chair of the Republican party, Steve Justus, the seat is open due to the resignation of Rex Moore.

Justus notes that the party caucus will be held on August 13th at the office of Miller, Burry and Brown at 6 p.m. in Decatur. Precinct committee chairmen will meet and the party will presumably name Moore’s replacement to the council.
According to the press release, an interested person must be a resident of District Two in Adams County, a qualified Republican Elector and in good standing with the party.
Anyone interested must also submit a resume with a cover letter to P.O. Box 67 in Decatur by 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 10th. All information should be submitted to the attention of Chairman Justus.
