The Adams County Community Foundation (ACCF) announced this week a recent addition of funds to the ACCF / Sheriff’s K9 Fund. Marilyn Gehrig contacted the ACCF to share the news. She, along with the help of Agnes Schoch, managed funds through the Thrivent Choice Dollars grant program to support and provide money to grow the K9 fund in the ACCF.Â
Schoch noted that the Thrivent Choice Dollars grant program is very popular in this area, allowing members an opportunity to designate some of Thrivent’s fraternal benefits to charities of their choice. This opportunity is available every year to members.Â
“It has been a wonderful gift to many area charities and nonprofits in our local community,” Schoch says. “It generates thousands of dollars to our community annually. Some restrictions apply, but if you are a Thrivent member and would like to learn more, call your Thrivent agent.”Â
